Blogs of Note

I've just come across a very interesting blog concerning all things to do with literature....short story writing, sonnets, easy ways to writing etc. It just opened up my mind to how one could develop the skill of writing and to improve through different methods. I think the little exercise involving the alphabet where you write a 26 letter paragraph using every letter of the alphabet starting with a then b then c etc is very interesting. How would you go about doing such a project...would I make sense at the end.

The whole concept of blogging is really opening up my viewpoints on the world. There is a lot of people out there like me who just love to type out their story! I'd love to be able to go back to college and study English Literature for a period....where would it take me! Maybe it will happen sometime in the future....who know's! I must go about getting the broadband into my house. My wife would probably disown for ignoring her if I did get it...I would spend a lot of time surfing and blogging!! At the moment though I will have to make do with the library and thank God that my local library is well stocked. I must try to visit more often in the future. It can be very handy sometimes when your wife likes to read just as much as you. She has really gotten into the reading of lateand would go through a book even quicker than I coauld! My wife loves to rewad fiction whereas I would prefer non fiction like biographies and self help books that lead to nothing on my behalf.

I must brush up on my Irish history over the next couple of months. My sister-in-law put on to this with a hisrtorical fact that I did not know. This will be my spur to develop a working knowledge of the history of Ireland. One day it may come in handy against people who think they know everything!!
